About this site
What this domain used to be
From 2011 to 2013, adaptersettlement.com was the official website of the class action settlement over Apple’s MagSafe power adapters. The settlement administrator ran it, and owners used it to read the notice, check deadlines, and print claim forms. The case has been closed for years, and the domain later expired.
Many news stories and forum threads from that time still link here. This page exists so those links lead to something useful: an accurate account of the case and practical advice for anyone buying a MacBook charger today.
Who runs it
The site is published by level42, s. r. o., a small web publisher from Slovakia. We are not a law firm, and we are not connected to Apple, the court, the lawyers in the case, or the settlement administrator. Nothing here is legal advice.

Spotted a mistake or have a question? Write to hi@adaptersettlement.com. We can’t help with claims in the old settlement, because it’s closed. For problems with an Apple charger, contact Apple Support.
How we check facts
Facts about the lawsuit come from court records and archived copies of the original settlement website. Charger advice follows Apple’s own support pages and published standards. Each claim on the main page links to its source, and we update the page when Apple changes its lineup.
